Two films that form part of a cycle of work, concerned with the use of space and time, as a site for inauthenticity. Concerned with both the space depicted, and the architectural frame of the camera, there is no attempt to hide the ‘staged’ aspect of the work. More important is the ability to use space as a frame for re-enactment. Whether it is the use of fellow artist and friend John Bock’s studio to re-enact the famous photographs of Che Guevara’s body on display for the Bolivian army and the CIA, or the artist’s own space further deconstructing the agit-prop of Godard’s famous essay on Maoism.

His work will be presented in the forthcoming exhibition ‘The End of Civilisation’ Port Eliot Lit Fest (July 2006). Zoo Art fair, with T1+2 Artspace (October 2006). 13 Satellites of Lahore, Pakistan (April 2007).
